I've stayed there a couple of times, and really liked it (but I prefer the Swan, as it's a bit quieter and has queen beds vs. double, although we've gotten king and rollaway when it's just me and my two kids and DD just sleeps with me).
Transportation and location is the best! The friendship boats come directly to the Swan and Dolphin and go to the other Epcot resorts and to DHS and Epcot. Also, the Studios is a nice 15 minute or so walk; Epcot is about a 7 minute walk or less, depending on how fast you walk.
I forget what rooms I've had there, but they've always given me a room with a balcony at least (once I got one with two balconies, including one big one).
The best thing is that you can walk to the Yacht and Beach Club, and the Boardwalk, so between that and Epcot, you have tons of dining options.
