Hi all, We are planning on renting an rv and driving to Disney and staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground and I've notice that some discounts don't apply? Is it fairly common for the free dining to exclude the campground? We are trying to explore all options for a larger family and saving a few dollars to then not be able to take advantage of free dining if it comes out seems kinda backwards.

Thanks,
Amanda

The campsites are not included in FD discounts. The cabins are eligible, though. It is not cost effective for Disney to offer FD to the campsites because you can fit so many more people for so much less than those staying in rooms. How many people are in your party?

We are 8, 6 being my base family and my brother and his gf. The funny party is we're not staying at the campground to avoid the hotel rates, we doing it to avoid having to fly! And then the savings we would get from camping instead would make up for the extra we'd pay to rent an RV. Guess it's back to searching for economical flights.
