Hi everyone,

We are staying at the BC for a week in July. Are there any not to miss places to eat at this location or near it?

Also I know next to nothing about this area of WDW as we have always stayed near the MK.

Is there a quick casual place to grab breakfast/lunch too?

Thanks everyone!

You will love the BC location! When we were there in 2004 we really enjoyed the Cape May buffet-we ate there the day we arrived-Spoodles on the Boardwalk and I think it's called the Big River Grille? We loved Spoodles, but the Big River Grille was just ok. We spent alot of time at the pool (which you will also love!) and thought the carry out was fine for something quick. Also Beaches and Cream is great but usually crowded. You'll be so close to Epcot for counter service meals from the countries. We haven't eaten at Flying Fish, but have heard wonderful things about it-we're going to try it in June. Have a wonderful trip! :)

Beaches and Cream and the Cape May Cafe. The two restaurants at BC are fantastic!!! You can get breakfast things at the Marketplace.

I think Beaches and Cream is a must-do considering where you are staying. The burgers and sundaes were delicious!

Cape May Cafe is a wonderful buffet, both morning and evening. (Morning, it's a character b'fast, with Chip n Dale and a few others dressed in beach togs...)

For something ritzier, there's the Yachtsman Steakhouse -- great for a protein fix! -- or over at the BW, the Flying Fish. Do not neglect the BW Bakery, too!

Over the the Swan/Dolphin, you have Shula's for steaks, too...as well as Todd English's Blue Zoo (we're trying it out during our trip next month!)

Also -- and this is not insignificant -- you are just a 10-minute walk from Epcot, and literally around the corner from Les Chefs de France, arguably one of the best restaurants in any themepark, anywhere.

Really, by walking 10 minutes in any direction, you have SO MUCH to choose from!

We'll be at the BWV in just three more weeks. Can't wait! :dance3:

We were at the YC this spring -- here are the places we would recommend:

Flying Fish -- our dinner was incredible! It's fun to visit the BW, too, when you are there!

Rose & Crown -- we had a really fun, great dinner there in Epcot!

Yacht Club Galley for breakfast -- not a character meal, so quicker, quieter, and less expensive for breakfast than Cape May Cafe -- excellent food selection and quality!

I agree that Beaches & Cream is a MUST DO no matter where you are staying! You're lucky it's in your resort... please enjoy a No Way Jose sundae for me!

You are also very close to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot (not much more than a 5 min. walk). Good restaurants at France, Morocco, Canada, and the UK are within about 10-12 mins. walk.

We just returned from a week at the BC. Here are our favorites.

The Marketplace has a nice selection of quick breakfast foods.

Plan time to hang by the pool. It's wonderful. Hurricane Hannah's wait staff will take your order right from your poolside lounge chair. Then bring it to you! My kids loved their chicken sandwiches. I loved their Strawberry Colada.

Beaches and Cream has great burgers and fries. It's one of our favorites. Oh, and the Kitchen Sink is great fun!

Cape May Cafe Breakfast with Goofy is a fun and good breakfast. And the best part it's right downstairs. No need to battle the buses.

Spoodles became one of our "must do again" restaurants. The food was excellent. My 3 kids loved everything about it. Our server was super.

Like other's have said...World Showcase is literally at your back door. We love to stroll over to Epcot and "dine around the world." And don't forget Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada. One of our best meals yet. :thumbsup2

Thank you all for your replies.

I was not aware that the BC had a quick/casual place. Is the "Marketplace" a new edition? Is this on the lines of Roaring Forks at the WL :confused3

Wow lots of ideas and options so I am sure we will be fine. Do I need to make ADRs for any of the places listed for July :confused3

Thanks so much :goodvibes

I have a question for you. If you eat lunch at the pool and order food from Hurricane Hannahs can you use the dining plan? I hope this is not a dumb question. Also what is in the market place as far as CS foof selection. Thanks.

Our family loves the Cape May Cafe Clambake on our first night. It's not really a loud place (think Chef Mickey) but it's not quiet either. It's fun for the kids. They can color on the paper that's on the tables, DH can get a pitcher of beer. ;) The food is very good too. The breakfast there is good too. Characters in old fashioned bathing suits.

Two of my favorites are Flying Fish and Yachtsman steakhouse. My boys LOVE ESPN and we usually eat lunch there our first day. The breakfast at Spoodles is really very good. I have not tried dinner there yet. We walked through the Marketplace this past Dec and it looked like a great place for a quick grab and go breakfast. The boardwalk bakery is good for that too.
Beaches and cream has really great ice cream and burgers.
