We have stayed at POR In September 2008 and 2009 and have never seen pirate cruises or a bonfire. If anyone has more info about this please let us know.

The campfire operates from the end of October to March, twice a week (6.30pm, Thursday and Sunday).

The pirate cruise runs three times a week (9.30am, Tues, Thurs and Sun) all year round.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon this thread. We will be going "home" in 10 days, and we are so excited! Looking at these pictures was just what I needed today! My refrigerator/freezer just broke, and I had to throw out about $300 worth of food (what a waste - of course I had just gone shopping )

At least it was able to be fixed and I did not have to get a new one.... Oh well, what are you going to do.... there are worse things that could go wrong in life, but it was an added expense and PIA that I didn't need right now - then again who ever needs them!!!!

But, these POR pictures really gave me a pick me up! I am so excited for our trip - we are a family of 5 - so we are also kind of "forced" here. We think it's great.

Not sure what camer Kurby was using but I just got a small handheld - the Kodak playsport and it's waterproof up to 10ft. It's the size of a cellphone - can't wait to bring it on our trip in Oct.
