Staying at GCH...rope drop from hotel or main entrance?

In the past I remember it was not advantageous to rope drop from the hotel because the line would build up so quickly. Is this still the case? Trying to figure out what’s the best way to enter the park tomorrow morning!

Every time we've stayed at the GCH we've always rope dropped from the hotel entrance. The lines may look long because there are only two, but compared to the main DCA lines, it really does move fast IMO. I guess it depends on what you are looking to do first thing. It you plan to rope drop RSR, then getting in through DCA and being at the front of Carthay Circle before opening would make sense now that there's no FP/MP. Let us know what you choose and how it worked! We are there in a few weeks and would love to know!
