Staying at Boardwalk--monorail at Epcot?

We're staying at the Boardwalk; is there any way to take the monorail from Epcot to MK? Obviously we could take the bus direct from BW to MK, but is there any way to walk "around" Epcot to the monorail stop at the front entrance?

Would rather not enter Epcot and walk through, as that would require a Park Hopper add-on to our tickets.

Unfortunately to do this you would need to enter Epcot through the International Gateway, walk through World Showcase and then Future World to get over to the Epcot Monorail station at the Future World exit.
