Stayed at Most Disney Resorts - Which one next?

If you're paying cash, I wouldn't do any of these without going to parks. There are better hotels for the money if you don't care about the parks. It's hard for me to justify the cash price, especially on suites for these properties.

If you are staying DVC, I think either is OK. I'd probably pick OKW, because the theming sounds a little more my style.

OP here. Thanks for everyone's responses! Everyone's feedback was very helpful and most were spot on with how I am feeling. I was actually at Disney this past weekend staying at POFQ and took a drive over to both OKQ and SSR. The security guards let me drive through both properties and I walked up to multiple pools and through the main hub areas. It was me, my mom and my tween daughter and we all agreed we liked the vibe of SSR better. The pools in particular seemed better. I should also say I like the overall look of the rooms better at SSR based on my YouTube research. It gives me Rivera vibes and I really liked that 1-bedroom villa when we stayed there. With the Disney Visa discount that dropped today, we booked a 1-bedroom preferred villa at SSR for this summer.

Like others said, I do not care for the the theming of the Contemporary rooms but I do plan to stay there in October when we attend the Halloween Party since I do like being in the MK area. As for Boardwalk, I'll stay there when the refurb is over. I am not sure if I'll ever end up booking OKW but I might just have to at some point if I am going to complete my resort list.

BTW - We were very close to booking the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek before we decided to stay at a Disney resort again but I am glad I did not as I did not realize It literally sat along I-4. Saw this as we drove by. Just not my cup of tea. Plus the last two JW stays we had were just not up to par with Disney standards and both my husband and I found ourselves constantly comparing service and cleanliness to Disney. These stays were at JW Grande Lakes in Orlando and the JW Marco Island.

For reference, my favorite Disney resorts are in this order: YC/BC, Poly, and GF. My favorite moderate is POFQ...just returned from a fabulous stay there. Good luck to everyone making resort choices! I find overall my Disney stays are always wonderful and memorable for all the right reasons.

Saratoga or Boardwalk for dining opportunities. I like OKW but their food situation is not the best. I really like a good quick service and I like the food service at the Paddocks pool for SSR.

Simple SSR if you plan on going to other resorts being close to DS where you can take a bus to and from other resorts easily is a huge perk. But with all the dining in DS already you may find yourself not having to go very far at all. if You chose preferred you can be by congress park however the walking path leaves you by the Christmas store not a horrible walk… if the boat is dropping off by Boathouse again it is a shorter walk to the bus stop. The boats were very fast you could see it on the other side coming back. For this Paddock is Non preferred is a very easy walk. We find ourselves eating at DS a lot when we stay here because it was just that easy. OKW also has a very nice boat ride to DS for easy connection to other resorts.
