Hi everyone! First time Platinum and can start booking activities this Sunday! Do I really have to stay up to midnight in order to book a Palo Brunch ?
Sailing in March on the Wish.

I am almost always awake that night; it’s just part of the cruise thrill (and my normal sleep pattern - but it’s only 11 pm where I live). And, yes, I would stay up to book a brunch if I wanted one. Even if I thought the Pearls might have snatched them already. Or the fact that tables for two seem to go more quickly.

I haven’t been following patterns on the Wish; I assume brunch is still hard to get.

Good luck and hope you enjoy your future cruises as much as the first ten.

The only thing I can say, is the longer you wait the less chance of getting the time and day you want. Not sure how many Palo Brunch days they do on the Wish but I do know on the Fantasy they only did them on sea days, however,
it is so popular I heard that on the Fantasy's western cruise they were doing it on Grand Cayman day now.

My wife and I are Platinum however when we were Gold we did get the Brunch just not always on the day or time we always wanted.

It depends. Palo brunch or dinner. Do you really want the reservation? If you don't get it, will you wonder if you could have gotten if you had stayed up? Also, there are fewer days on Wish cruises for Palo brunch, so less supply, but same demand.

It's a gamble. How many Pearl and Plantinum are on your cruise, but if you want the best shot, stay up. It may also get you a better boarding time if you are arriving by car or non-disney transporation.

They generally do Palo Brunch on Nassau days now as well. You will want to stay up if you have your heart set on it. In addition to Platinum and Pearl, you are also dealing with a much larger pool of concierge guests who get the first bite at the apple. There were platinum people on our Wish B2B that didn't get Palo brunch and/or dinner.

I did (for Hawaii=>Vcvr, '24).

Didn't get my 1st Choice (Sea) Day and (Brunch) Time, but 2nd Choice was nearly perfect.
I think reality is that many choices are available as late as Boarding Day and after.

Fun!

We were still Platinum when we sailed on the Wish in Feb. We had never had an issue booking Palo Brunch as Platinum before, and we never stayed up til midnight. This time we did stay up as I heard it was tough on the Wish. I was the only Platinum guest in our cruise group to secure a brunch reservation. My trick was to go right for the Nassau day where there happened to be 1 time available that we snagged.

With that said it was later than I wanted so once on board we went to see if we could get anything earlier, which we were given, but on the sea day. So there is hope once on board if you don't get it in advance.

Stay up. Not as much opportunity on the Wish. We found the Wish to have many first time cruisers. Set an alarm-lol, I am east coast, early to bed girl. I sleep for a couple of hours, get up, book my stuff and have pleasant dreams the rest of the night! :)

If there is anything you really want to grab stay up.

We’re still just silver (one cruise left for gold!) and our recent Oct Wish cruise was actually the first time I didn’t have any trouble booking Palo or tastings on silver day. Our cruise largely consisted of first timers. It totally depends on the guest make up of your particular sailing.

Check is is separate from activity booking now and isn’t until around a month out. Platinum do get to check in a few days before gold, silver etc.

I understand they are separate - but still applies to both. If your cruise is mostly Pearl and Platinum on either the activity booking or check in for PAT you gamble that they will snag up what you want. I am Platinum and stay up until midnight to book activities and Palo brunch was already missing times. Then when MIL was able to book activities at Silver there were not times available at all for most things onboard.

Again it all goes back to how bad do you want it if it's worth staying up.

Update! Logged in at Midnight on the app, booked Palo brunch on the sea day! Could have booked dinner it was available. Also booked a bourbon tasting. Cabanas all booked, some kids events were sold out as well.
Glad you got the brunch you wanted. You can probably add Palo dinner at any time - it never seems to fill up.
