If we stay at PPH, can we use the pools at DLH? Reserve a cabana there? How much are the cabanas?
I know, it's not always easy to find info on the DLR website. They don't even mention if they have refrigerators in the rooms. I had to call the hotel and ask. It is a bummer they don't allow PPH guests to rent the cabanas. What about a split stay and do just one night at DLH, then you could use the pool on the day you check in AND the day you check out!Ah! Good to know! I'd been looking for info but couldn't find it. Apparently I was looking in the wrong place!
Sorry, but they make it pretty clear on their website that only guests staying at DLH or GCH can reserve cabanas:

Guests staying at a select Disneyland Resort hotel are invited to reserve a poolside cabana. These hotels include:
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Disneyland Hotel
This is really good to know that it IS possible. They must not want to advertise it publicly though. My cousin was at PPH and we were at GCH and we separately booked cabanas next to each other at DLH and there wasn't an issue. I would call and book it. They do go pretty quickly so call as soon as you decide. We like to do the 2 pm-6:30 rental (the times change with the season I believe) and I think it's $120. It's only $50 more to do the whole day if you choose.
When we did it over Labor day, the prices were $185 half day (930am-130p or 2-6p), $285 full day (10-6).My cousin was at PPH and we were at GCH and we separately booked cabanas next to each other at DLH and there wasn't an issue. That is a good point. I probably misread that completely! Sorry everyone! Is it possible that this means that there are only cabanas located at the two hotels, but that guests from all three may book them?
