Statue Act / Italy in Epcot

Oh please tell me it isn't true....the Statue Act in Italy is no longer there????

Can't we band altogether and write letters to have them bring this act back???

It's true. I thought I remember reading on another thread that they're now at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I actually emailed a complaint to Disney about this and got a phone call a few weeks later. The official line was that they like to provide new and different entertainment at WS and update things every now and then.

If it's what I'm thinking of - a person all in white, acting like a statue - I saw that at Busch Gardens awhile ago. It was pretty cool, and the statue interacted with my nephew. Took it little too far, and the nephew started to get upset, but it was interesting. Hasn't been there the last few times I went, and I was just there last weekend.

No they're not at Epcot anymore. I read on another forum that Disney wanted to make the Living Statues act exclusive to Disney which would mean that they wouldn't be able to perform at other locations. So the director of the show decided not to renew the contract.
