Stats on walking @ WDW

Sorry, I know this was posted before but I couldn't find it. Seems there was some stats (informal or formal) done on how many miles the average adult walks at WDW in a given day. Anyone know anything about this? Just curious.

Estimates average around 5-6 miles per day (though a lot of those estimates are on the high side -- some folks are suprised to learn that the distance around the World Showcase Lagoon is less than a mile and a half).

We used a pedometer last time we were at WDW. I think at MK we averaged about 9 miles and Epcot we averaged around 13.

I had read somewhere that the average person does walk 7 - 8 miles per day at WDW.

I have been taking a pedometer to WDW for years. I average somewhere around 7-8 miles per day, more at Epcot, although I have been slowing down a little lately (getting old and fat).
