How come when I walk into work my hair flies toward the ceiling? The more I try to get it down the worse it gets. ANy suggestions???

I would suggest carrying a dryer sheet or two with you and rubbing it on your head....no joke. It's worked for me in the past and smells a whole lot better than Static Guard, which reminds me of the smell of paste or glue.

Nylon Carpeting, slick soled shoes. That is one cause.

at 26 i still have baby fine hair. so i have lots of static~ all year long. honestly to keep it in check all i do is spritz just a touch of hairspray on my hair.

You could try rubbing hand lotion between your hands and then rubbing your hands lightly over your hair.
