Hello I don't fly that much, but reading these post looks like states futher away from Disney cost less.
I just looked at a bunch of different websites and the cost for non-stop is running from 180.00 to 210.00 departing from Alabama.

can anyone tell me why so much more when I live fairly close
thanks Brooke :D

Try MSP (MN) typically $300 into MCO.

I'll take the $l80. I know what you man tho, the eastern seaboard states have charter airlines that run cheap specials. It's a good deal for them.

herc.

The price of airfare in no way correlates to the distance travelled. It is more related to the competitive market. In my area...it is more expensive to fly from Philly to Pittsburgh than from Philly to Orlando. The Philly to Orlando market is more competitive and has more travellers than the other route.
