Stateroom question on the Magic

The only oceanview cabins that are available are unfortunately forward on deck and cabin 2010 is the furthest cabin towards the middle of the ship that's left to book.

We just tried an OV Deck 2 on the Magic for the first time for a 12 nt British Isles cruise in july. It was our first cruise with an Ocean View and first time on a lower deck. (9th Disney cruise - and we had tried all the categories - incl 1 bdrm - except OV)

All I can tell you is Deck 2 OV cabins IMO are the best kept secret on the Magic and Wonder. To say we loved it is an understatement. We were midship a few cabins away from the elevators but we hardly used them. You are literally 1 flight of stairs down as you come and go from Deck 3 - which our itinerary used constantly when docked at various ports. Restaurants and guest services are right there too.

We will always consider that deck from now on and book whenever possible, but it's hard to get.

Um...no

O'Gills is on starboard, 2010 is on port side of the ship. In fact 2010 seems to be almost all the way on the forward side of Keys. Much quieter venue.

O'Gills - yes they can get rowdy in there. Especially on Tangled night, when it becomes the Snuggly Duckling.

We had Irish Step Dancers in there during our EBTA. Could be an issue overhead.

Thanks for the awesome post with the deck pictures side by side. This saved me a lot of research time now. I'm glad to see that our stateroom is under the Keys and not under O'Gill's. If it was under O'Gill's, I think I'd have to switch the room. The Keys should be quiet so I don't think it'll be an issue.
