Just checking, my cruise is coming up next week. Do the staterooms on the DCL ships still have clocks? I know Disney has removed most of the clocks at the resorts at WDW, just checking in case I need to bring one for my cruise next week.

I have never seen clocks in the staterooms on the ships (cruised since 2013). Most people use phones or wake up calls for getting up or watches for time during the day.

The phones might have a clock on them...not 100% on that.

Yes, we've had clocks in our rooms onboard:

Clock on the Fantasy (2017)

I think they have clocks in them right now. The Wonder in August 2016 did not have a clock; the Magic in August 2018 did.

There's always a chance that a specific room may not have a clock due to the one belonging there is broken. Most of the time, if you ask, they will replace it (often with one from another room, so now there's a different room without a clock) ;)

The black and silver clock @PrincessShmoo is the one we had in the stateroom just this last Sept. for Alaska. I remember it well because of all the time changes you go through way up north.

Just got off the fantasty today. There was an alarm clock in the room and the stateroom host changed the time whenever our timezone changed.

Just got off the Magic this morning (11/3/18), they have the black type clock posted above.

Ha. Guess I have never paid attention. I don’t have one at home, so I never bother to look I guess.

LOL. We has several people at work like that. Their use i-phone for everything. Apple did some upgrade overnight last December that froze the time until you powered the phone on and off. We had 3 people oversleep that day!

Huh. I have an iPhone and that didn't happen to me. Maybe I have it set so I have to manually initiate an update?

Plus my cat is on such a regular schedule he doesn't even like it when I sleep in an hour on the weekends. LOL.

If I have something I need to be up for on the ship I set a wake-up call...but usually I end up cancelling it because I'm up anyway. :D

Could be. Appears to be a chronic iPhone issue. We no longer have a kitty, but the one time my wife forgot to turn the alarm on on her clock radio. Mocha woke her up 10 minutes afterwards....the old paw to the face. Mocha was pretty sharp, she understood we slept in on weekends, and never did it on weekends. And when we got up early on weekends, she refused to get up!
