Stateroom #6620

Hi all! I have one last curiosity question before we head out for our very first cruise. We are scheduled for stateroom #6620. Has anyone stayed in or near this room that could tell us where it is and any benefits/downfalls?? Thanks in advance!! Two days until we set sail!!!! Woohoo!!

IF this is on the Magic, that's our room! It is a great room. It's Starboard, near the aft lifts/stairs, so very convenient, but not at all noisy. Just a hop skip and a jump to coffee in the am and the pools. Also convenient to the laundry, but not so close that people are hovering around your room til all hours. Plus, we never had to look at the docks in port. Always faced the open water. Enjoy! can't think of a single down, except the wash from the boat is a bit muted. (I live for the sound of the ship plying the sea!)

It's on The Wonder! Your room sounds awesome though and I hope ours is as wonderful! Out of curiosity though, did yours have a verandah? If so, did you have a small child with you? We are a little worried about having our DD(3) with us out on the verandah. Even though we know she won't be out there while we are not and that we'll be keeping her close and off of the rails - we are still nervous. Thanks for the input!

We've had a Category 6 room with a verandah before, and that's what we'll have this summer. Instead of railings like you might see on a different cruise line, you will find that your verandah has a plexiglas-type barrier between your daughter and the sea. I think that when you sit in the chairs you can see over the rail as an adult, but I can't really remember. I just know I loved the verandah and felt very safe with my kids being out there. They were NOT allowed to climb on chairs!!

I'd feel much safer with plexiglass than a few railings. Phew! I'm sure it will be a nicer view for us all that way, if it is like that. One more day before we leave for the Wonder!!! I can't believe it is here already!!
