Stateroom 6116 on Disney Magic

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever stayed in the above stateroom? How is the location please?

Any opinions gratefully received from a novice cruiser!

If you have not stayed in it but have opinions if you have cruised before I would love to hear them!

Hi Karen

I didn't know that you were looking into going on a cruise. We stayed in room 6118 on the Disney Wonder, it was a great location, by the rear (aft) staircase and elevators (we heard no noise from these). The room was brilliant, it was the free upgrade that we were given from a Cat.9 to a Cat.6. The verandah was great, Paul loved it so much (so that he could escape from a room full of girls getting changed) that he insisted on one for our next cruise.

Well Mandy if I'd know that I would have asked you before!! Silly me!

OK, tell me why this is a great location - remember I am a cruise novice. I was worried by it being by the elevators but obviously this is nothing to worry about!

I've been thinking of a cruise for some time but now Jon's agreed

the rooms or halways are seperate from the elevator lobbys ist not like your room is in the elevator lobby so there should be no problem unless you have people that are rude and have no respect for people. we had no problem on our last cruise we were forward near the elevators and it was great we are aft next trip and are not worried at all

Hi...I stayed in 6116 my first cruise. It was an awesome room in a great location. You arent too far from elevators but if you get on or off the elevator in the front of the ship by the atrium....you are in for one heck of a walk (then again...no matter how you get to your room,,,,its a walk. lol) I stayed on the fifth floor second cruise which I absolutely loved as the hallways are much wider because the kids clubs are on this deck. No matter what, 6116 was great though!!!!!

Hi Karen

I found that the rooms were on a great deck. Only 3 decks up to the pools and the Beach blanket Buffet (Topsiders on Disney Magic), 2 decks down to Animators Palate and 3 decks down to Parrot Cay and Triton's (Lumiere's on Disney Magic). Can't you tell I'm still on our UK Disers Diet, I've mentioned all the restaurants and I have food on the brain

Just got back from 4/16/05 Eastern and stayed in that room. It was a very nice location for most restaurants and the kids club. Further for the shows/stores but we liked it a lot!
