State Rooms on Magic

We are first time Disney cruisers. We are a family of 5 which
includes 3 ds's (ages 8, 9, and 11 at the time of the cruise).
We have just booked a 7-day eastern cruise on the Magic for
December 2003. Our stateroom is 8042. Is this a good location?
I have read on this board that some rooms are under places that
make it pretty noisy in the room. However, with 3 boys, we will
be producing some noise of our own.

Any feedback or hints would be appreciated.

8042 is near the Goofy pool, so you'll likely hear some deck noise during the day. It shouldn't be a problem, though, except on the night of the deck party.
