I want to be a nurse. I'm watching a rerun of Hopkins and seeing the young girl brain dead from failing in a pool with lack of oxygen to her brain breaks my heart. It reminds me SO much of WHY I want to be a nurse.

I have a masssssive cold and I couldn't have picked a better time to have it. There's a huge ice storm going so all of my classes are closed. Thank god, I really don't want to go to class this sick.

I'm going to buy that shirt. Even though I have 0% chance of getting in there, I'm still going to work my butt off and try.
Plus, the school has a very special place in my heart. They educated the doctors who saved my life, and their medical system treated me.
