Starwars Weekend: When to book

My kids and I want to go to the first weekend of Starwars weekend next year. Looking back at previous years, sometimes it was 2 weekends in May and 2 in June, others 1 weekend in May and 3 in June, while others were all in June.

I figured it would be best to try and go earlier rather than later because the further into the summer, the hotter and rainier it could get.

I'm planning on booking 7 months out, so do you think it be best to book for the weekend of May 22and 23, May 29 and 30, or push i back into June.

We've gone to SWW the past 2 years. Both year, we went the first weekend in June. Last year it happened to be the opening weekend and this year it wasn't. With Disney changing dates, I would think the first weekend in June would be safest. It may not end up being the first weekend, but at least you know you won't miss it.
