Starwars Fireworks from outside HS?

We arrive into MCO at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday 4/30. Right now, that is the last night of the Starwars Fireworks.

We are staying at the BWV. Planning on a quiet night, settling in, no ADR, just grab a quick dinner somewhere on the Boardwalk.

If we decide to check-out the fireworks at HS, where is the best place to see them AND hear the music? Without being inside the park. Can we hear the music from just outside the gates?

Just trying to decide if it is worth a stroll over to HS that night.

You won't hear the music outside of the gates. You could have a YouTube video set to start up when the fireworks begin to hear the audio while you watch. There are good views from the pathway that leads to DHS.

I'm staying at CBR right now and tonight, we were able to see and hear the Star Wars fireworks from Old Port Royale

I could hear the music from the plaza outside the gates, but it wasn't very loud--I had trouble with some of the voiceover lines (I had a youtube video on my phone ready to go, but enjoyed the show without it). I was standing near the bus queues and the trees blocked a bit, but I wanted a quick getaway and people were already leaving the park. It's a good show and I was glad I went.

There are good views from the pathway that leads to DHS.

We watched the fireworks AND could hear the music very clearly while walking on the path from HS to the Boardwalk in late January. Enjoyed it very much!

You can see and hear them at the Grand Floridian, too.
(No, I'm not kidding.)
But, what you hear is loud explosion noises (very, very out-of-sync with) what you see... flashes of pyro.
Neither of which I would consider as being the "Star Wars Symphony in the Stars" show.

To be able to hear the music from outside the gates it would depend on wind direction, I'm guessing this is why some people say they can hear it from outside DHS. I agree with @hiroMYhero if you cannot make it inside have the fireworks queued up and ready to go on youtube and start it exactly at 8pm, that would be your best bet.
I can also hear the booms from my house and I live 25 minutes away, by the airport.

We couldn't hear the music but the fireworks and the beer and wine were great from our Balcony on 5th floor Jambo on west wing overlooking Arusha Savanna ant Animal Kingdom Lodge.

We could see the fireworks from our spot waiting for IllumiNations to start. We were between China and Norway.
