I'm working on my plan for Monday and wanted to know is star tours giving Flash passes

While they didn't use the FP machines on Friday, someone on here said they got one yesterday. I think you will be ok.

My friend was waiting in line for a FP this morning. Never did hear how long THAT line was. :headache:

I don't know what kind of ride you think this is but they most certainly do not have "flash" passes ;)

Now Fastpasses, yes they have those :)

We got there at 10:00 yesterday, while it didn't take very long to get the FPs, they were for 3:55 in the afternoon!

FWI I thought the ride was nice and if FPs are available or the line is short (no more than 15 minutes), I would ride it again.

My guess is that the popularity will last the summer (if that long), then after that it wil taper off to around the same wait times as it had before the redo. It is nice, but I don't think that it will be as popular as they are hoping in the long run. I think Little Mermaid will have long lines longer than Star Tours.

Im hoping that our first timer's tour (Sat the 13th) which gives 2 free fastpasses will make it easier...lol...crossing fingers!

We got fast passes 2 mornings in a row. The line for them was long but moved really fast. Only took a few minutes. The line for the ride itself was short both mornings during magic morning and then got long when the park opened.

Someone on Twitter posted a pic earlier today on how long the FP lines were- and yikes, but I am sure they do move quickly.

But you gotta be there early or they will "sell out" for the day. Even at that the time you get will be late in the day unless you are early early early in the FP line.

FPs were gone, maybe today, by 11 am! :scared1: So if you are not there early there is a good chance you will not get one. I think it'll be this way most of the summer.

Yep, and the Star Tours regular line had listed waits of anywhere from 165 to 225 minutes from about noon today until we left at about 7:30.

It's funny, the lines were actually much more manageable on opening day. I'm glad I got to ride it twice on Friday. I wasn't so upset at missing it today.

These long waits times are driving me insane by just looking at them. :lmao:

I visited the Hollywood Studios three days or so after opening, on a Star Wars Weekend week, and the most I saw for a wait is 60 minutes, but I rode at least seven times in a 30 minute or less line. It moves at a fairly brisk rate unless something breaks, considering each speeder packs in quite a few people. I know you guys only have 4 of the 'speeders while we have six, but still. Wow. And the worst thing is, you guys just get to stare at the pavement while waiting outside, and we have the AT-AT and Ewok Villiage. ;)

Of course that is the overflow queing area at DL and the main queue is the highly themed area inside.
