Starting School Poll

My DD started school on the 11th of August. DS is in preschool and started on the 14th. It's crazy though as it's still summer .

I have cousins in Kentucky and they start school around that time. They are done by May 15 too.

Most of Michigan, as required by law can not start until after Labor Day. Some charter schools can begin before that.

Same with Wisconsin, they need our teenagers and college kids to work with the tourist industry till Labor day. We still don't can't figure out what area that is in Wisconsin, but it must exist.

I live in North Central FL and we started on the 18th of Aug. We only went for 3 days and then we shut down for T.S. Fay.
