Starting jan 14 magickingdom joins animal kingdom in testing fast pass plus only

It being reported that jan 14 magic kingdom will no longer be issuing legacy fast passes. Day guest can make fast pass plus reservations the day of at kiosk like they do in ak. I know this will make a lot of people happy.

So pass holders you now get to use fast pass plus at animal kingdom and magic kingdom without needing a resort reservation.

I'm not sure if testing is really the right term to use for this now as Animal Kingdom is now permanently Fastpass + only and I think the MK is likely to go that way tomorrow and Epcot and DHS are rumored to be by the end of the month. To me testing would imply that they might change it back to using legacy fastpas where it is becoming clear that they are not.

I going by the fact that the whole system still in test phase even if animal kingdom permeant. Until Disney makes the officail announcement that fast pass plus is fully rolled out and that they their not doing anymore testing I still use the word test. So guest now that at any time Disney can still make changes. Test could also mean they could make changes to how many fast pass plus you can make and other things I know their not going back to legacy fat passes. They can make other changes and still be testing. Plus until they give aps magic bands and fast pass plus without having to stay at a Disney resort I still see it as a test.
