My husband and I have been to Disney World seven times since the kids grew up and out. Now we have grandkids and it's time to take them along. April or May of 2010 will be our first trip with our 5 (nearly 6) year old Grandaughter Eva.
I'm thinking April 24 (for 7 days) or May 1 (also 7 days), water parks included. I want to be there when it's least crowded. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Grammy

Of the two, May will probably be less crowded. Easter falls at the end of March/start of April this year, so teh biggest rush is whenever Easter falls. I think some schools do have spring breaks the third week of April though.

Prices on rooms drop significantly after April 11. I suspect right after the price drops the crowds will be high due to that. So I would say May will have lowest crowds, but you'll probably have to pull the kids out of school to go that week.

April is usually pretty nice weather, but going in May is almost certainly going to be very nice for the water parks.
