Starring Rolls Cafe

Need some planning help... what are on the sandwiches at starring rolls cafe? I have a severe tomato allergy and need to know if that is someplace I can eat... Thanks!

There's a ham one and a turkey one , both on foccacia (sp?) bread, don't recall tomato in either one but I wasn't looking for it either. Both are really good. The children's plate is Uncrustables PB&J.

I had the turkey sandwich at the beginning of the month and it definitely did not have tomatoes on it, since I would have picked them off! Even if you can't eat a sandwich, make sure to get a cupcake - they are AMAZING!!!!

The sandwiches are very good...no tomatoes...lots of meat. In fact, I (not on DDP) get a sandwich and a croissant and make two sandwiches for my niece and me. And, then we have yummy cupcakes! We eat there every time we go.

Most people walk right by Starring Rolls Cafe not even noticing it tucked back on the corner of Sunset Boulevard or think it is part of the Brown Derby Restaurant which is right next door.This is one of the best coffee shop/bakery type establishments in DisneyWorld.This is always our first stop when we come to MGM in the morning.

Just had the turkey sandwich there yesterday. No tomatoes, super yummy. Go enjoy!!! The sandwiches were put out about 11:30am.

We had the turkey focaccia a few weeks ago and there was no tomato. DD and I shared it and she HATES tomato on sandwiches. We ate it without incident. Trust me, I would remember if the tomato was on there

Mickey Gator I suggest getting there early as when they run out of sandwiches they close and that can be early to mid afternoon. We went there in the late morning, boxed it up and ate it later. Our plan was to avoid the lunchtime long lines though, but it also means everything is there.

I am sorry to report there WERE tomatoes on our sandwiches/we just ate there 2 days ago......hubby refused to eat them---i loved them...they are pre-made! they wouldnt switch them up for him////they had turkey and ham both and lettuce tomatoe and dressing on them
see? everything is NOT written in stone in Disney---lol

Very interesting. We ate there on Friday as well and there were definitely no tomatoes on our turkey sandwiches. I have a picture of it but can't figure out how to get it on here or I'd post it. I wonder if it just depends which piece you get out of the circle. I don't like tomatoes so I got lucky I guess.

ahhhh...you may be correct because i noticed my tomatoes were at the end only....
either way i tried to tell hubby to pick them off as they didnt look to be that large but he said no way=lol
i will say i am not that much of a sandwich person but man were they GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
