Starlight soft opening tonight at 9 pm!!!

Yay!!! Waiting to see it in person next month. Also avoiding info about TT.

When I see posts about these I just move on. Hope those who watched have fun chatting about it!!

Watching it stream I’m not wowed. I think I need to see in person - next month. Then I’ll check back.

Why?

Everyone keeps comparing to Paint The Night. I actually don't really care for Paint The Night. The music isn't good and the parade is just screens in my opinion.

Is it as good as MSEP? No, but originals are always the best..🙂

Sigh, the Internet is so mood deflating. (Not you HopperFan!!!)
I watched it and loved it, go to read on social media (not this site) and bam! Everyone complaining. 😂 No, it's cool. Nothing will make everyone happy!

Wondering about the parade route direction.. I thought the original announcements said the parade would start at main street and end at Frontierland. But, the video I just saw of the soft opening of the parade was just the opposite, i.e. the parade was going towards main street to conclude there. Would love some clarification.

The 9:00 parade tonight started on Main Street. It came out right next to the fire station in Town Square, did the loop through Town Square by the train station and headed up Main Street toward the hub. Did they run it more than once and run it the opposite way the second time?

As to whether it was short, it seemed to be running kind of fast to me and I wondered if it was related to the weather. The floats for MSEP seemed to move more slowly. Also, we would have no way of knowing if a float or two were not ready and kept behind the scenes since this was the first public run through. I estimate it’s around fifteen minutes or so, which seems about right.

I liked it. Not as much as MSEP, but it may grow on me. I never liked Spectromagic at all, so the fact that I liked this one watching it virtually gives me hope I will like it more in person.
