Does anyone know how the parade will work after summer? Do you think they will run it on weekends? Only over the summers? I am tossing around the idea of taking my DD in April/May but being able to see the parade could potentially affect when we want to try to go.

It is believed that the parade will continue to run nightly on non-party nights. As of now it runs twice each night. Anything beside that would be purely a guess on someone’s part as Disney has not announced any changes.

It is too early to predict if it will run once or twice each night in April/May of next year but it will run.

Wow, I’ve been keeping an eye on hours for our early Oct. visit & last Thursday I took a screen shot of MK’s posted hours for 10/6 - 10/10 to send it to my son & the new Starlight parade was listed on non party nights.

I just checked those nights again & poof - it’s gone :(

@sndral There’s no way they won’t have the parade on nonparty nights. They spent a lot of money on imagineering, floats & CM training. Plus promoted the heck out of having a nighttime parade again. It’s really too far out for October hours to be correct online. They haven’t even finalized September hours yet.

My checking had become a bit of a habit - mostly to see which night/park would have extra evening hours for deluxe guests & to plot out our ADRs, so I was surprised when I spotted the 11 pm second Starlight parade on nights when MK was closing at 10 pm.
I agree that it might be too early for them to have nailed down their hours just yet, indeed I’ll be checking at 3-2 weeks out to see if park hours may be extended a bit as sometimes happen. But, in that case they should have omitted posting parade hours from the get go - like it is now. Posting parade hours last week at the exact time that folks were making ADRs was just sloppy IMO. They expect a great deal of planning from those of us who travel far & stay on-site for several days, the least they could do would be to not post misleading information.

Something is wrong with this, it’s showing MNSSHP every night.

No, you're not reading the chart quite correctly. It shows hours under the days that there are Special Ticketed events and those hours are only displayed on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Did you try expanding the tab, 'Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment'? That is where Starlight hours would be displayed.

If they're not there currently, I'm sure they will come back.

Yes, I looked at ‘Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment’ which currently shows Fireworks at 9 pm on non party nights for 10/6 & 10/8.
If the Starlight parade returns to the schedule I assume it’ll show up under the tab it was under last week labeled ‘parades’ & where you can currently see the times for the 2 nightly runnings of the Halloween Party Parade on party nights.

The way the WDW site is set up is a bit confusing - they’ll list the event slot every day but they’ll only list times for the days the event is actually happening. Below, the Halloween party & parades happen Sunday, Tuesday, & Thursday, so there are times listed for them on those days (which I’ve highlighted in green) on Monday & Wednesday there is no party so no times are listed (which I’ve highlighted in yellow.)

So far, Oct 4th is the last day a Starlight parade schedule is posted.
There is no MNSSHP on Oct 6th but still no night parade. Could Oct 4th be the last day for Starlight?

About how long does the Starlight parade last? We are going in October and snagged an 8:40pm Beak and Barrel one evening. I was initially disappointed thinking that meant we'd likely miss the 9pm Starlight show that night.... but the times that have been posted in early October have the parade at 8pm and 10pm, it would be awesome to be able to catch the 8pm parade and make our Beak and Barrel reservation, too 🤞

If you catch it from Town Hall at 8 (where it starts) you shouldn’t have a problem making an 8:40 reservation, especially if the reservation has the normal 15 minute grace period. Just make sure you stay on the left side of it when cutting through to Adventureland after watching it (and be prepared to walk against a sea of people going the other direction). You’ll probably have to cut through the stores instead of walking up MSUSA since that will be jam packed with fireworks crowds.

The parade lasts 10 minutes. Even if you watched the parade from Frontierland it'd be done there by 8:30 and you'd have time to get to your reservation.
