I just got home from seeing the tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express in Boston. I would like to know what the heck Andrew Lloyd Webber was smoking when he wrote that one. It was completely warped. I didn't love it, but I didn't not like it. If you threw the power rangers, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats in a blender, you'd end up with Starlight Express! It was a whole heck of a lot of fun :)

I love Starlight Express! Saw it in London over 14 years ago and even got to take a backstage tour.

I saw it about 10 years ago in Vegas. It is a fun musical if a bit weird. :)

I saw that a long time ago when it was on Broadway, I was a teenager and I liked it back then.

Karen,

The commercials around here are driving me NUTS  .

I'm glad you had fun, but I would have to agree that who knows what in the heck he was indulging in.......

I really liked Starlight Express! I saw it in LV several years ago but I still remember it being great fun - lots of energy and excitement. But I'm a big Andrew Lloyd-Webber fan.

I definitely enjoyed it, I would just love to know what he was on when he wrote it. I think the show would be more fun if you had some of that before seeing it ;)

Yes, that is an odd one isn't it. I think he was teaming up with Sid and Marty Kroft on that one... (maybe they were smoking friends!)

I think he was on the same thing that the people who wrote Alice in Wonderland were on. I saw it in NY years ago and again in Atlanta last summer.
