Stark Expo would be amazing!!! Just not at COP. It should be a live show or something that can be updated easily so that their is varitey and not just the same animatronic all the time
And here's the relevant paragraph, which is pretty much exactly as was described to me:
All that was subsequent to the world wide exclusivity, which expired 2 years after IOA/Marvel Island opened....provided Universal did not build any more Marvel Islands (which they did not).
Now...the crux is the language concerning the Avengers, above. HULK and Spidey are NOT Avengers...but Cap is (restaurant at IOA). So, if the Avengers provision is considered "active"...Iron Man could not appear at WDW.
Sorry for double posting, but DTD sells a LOT of marvel merch. They have a corner of one of the stores just for marvel stuff, i.e. Cap's shield and Thor's hammer.

I know (also a comic geek). I HAD forgotten that Spidey joined as part of the Heroic Age. But Hulk isn't an avenger (as in, right now). He WAS, but that's not what the contract says.
The contract just says (I'm paraphrasing) a member of a team, currently associated with a character in use.
With the Spidey link, again, you could argue the Avengers link a bit more strongly. But only the current line up would "count".
