Starbucks Secret Menu

I had the butter beer one. It was delicious! But by the time I read them how to make it, my small drink cost me like 8 bucks lol.

Holy cow there are 15 pages worth of stuff. I might have to try the willy wonky drink.

The secret menu's not really a real thing, and chances are if you go into a store and name something off the list they aren't going to know how to make it.

They can, however, make any drink you want if they have the ingredients and you know how to make it.

It's not really a secret -- they will make you anything you ask for. Don't expect every barista to know what a Butterbeer latte is, be prepared to order a tall whole latte, 2 pumps toffee nut, 2 pumps caramel, two pumps cinnamon dolce with whip and caramel drizzle (which, btw, I have tried and played with it until it tasted more like Butterbeer to me -- tall soy latte with 3 pumps toffee nut, 3 pumps caramel, add caramel drizzle, no whip). I also have a drink I call "cake in a cup" which is just a white hot chocolate with caramel drizzle.

Sent from me.

My boys always order steamers at Starbucks. I never see it on the menu, but the employees always know what it is. Just warm milk with whatever flavor they choose.

Yep, my DD loves steamers (pumpkin spice and cinnamon dolce). She calls them her lattes.

My DD got us started over the summer with the cotton candy frappachino. It is really good! Vanilla bean frap with a pump of raspberry.

The secret menu stuff is huge around here with the tween girls. My DD11's favorites are the Cotton Candy Frap mentioned above, a Banana Split Frap- which is the strawberries and creme frap with 1 banana and 3 scoops of frap chips, mocha drizzle and 3 scoops vanilla been powder, blended, whipped. My favorite is something I call the Caramel Brulee Frap. Start with the Vanilla Bean frap, add 3 pumps caramel brulee, blended and whipped with caramel drizzle.

What?? Why?? We had Grande's and they were $3.75 each. We did not add the coffee but that shouldn't have made it $8.

Well, it isn't a Starbucks thing but it is a thing, and yes you have to know how to make it. When we got our Butterbeers we told the cashier that we were ordering from the Secret Menu, he smiled and said "OK" and I gave him the recipe. He was new and had no idea but the guy making the drinks was not new and it was not his first time making Butterbeers. lol

That's what a Butterbeer is, just a steamer, you can add coffee but then it isn't really a Butterbeer. lol

So yes, I've ordered from the secret menu, it was easy enough, I just had to know how to make it.

I haven't ever actually ordered anything from the secret menu, but the peppermint frap sounds heavenly!!

Wow, so cool. I'll try to remember some of these next time we go. The Willy Wonka drink sounds like fun.

It was a few years ago. I had a friend who used to work for Starbucks and she was the first one who told me about it.
