hi!
I booked a hotel without free wifi connection, because I thought I wouldn't use it but now it turns out to be that i'll need it.
Is there a Starbucks near DL where we can have a coffee and use free wifi? or any other place within walking distance with free wifi?
We might be visiting the La Brea Mall and their website says they offer free wifi, but I'd love to know if there are other places.
I still might use the Anabella hotel wifi paying the charges but, since I need the wifi for something quite stupid I'm not willing to pay for the connection if I can avoid that.
Just to let you know, I'll need wifi to download books from Amazon.com. I made the mistake of buying a Kindle in NYC and an Amazon.com giftcard to download books from home without the hassle of giving them my credit card number and stuff (I avoid online credit card transactions whenever possible)... and now Amazon.com doesn't allow users to download ebooks from abroad without a credit card, even if they have gift cards registered. So I need to make those $50 worth it and I have to download as many ebooks as I can as to leave the account balance as near as $0 as possible... while I stay in the US
