When I go to disney next month now, yay, the Star Wars Weekend are on.

10 of us are going (all Adults) over half of us do like the Star Wars film but have never been to Disney when these weekends are on and would like to go but want to know if it is worth it?

How busy is it?

As we don't want to use one of our Days if we just spend it in one line and do one thing, as this wouldn't be fun for the no Star Wars fans in the group.

But I would like my picture taken with a Wookie :rotfl2:

DD and DH are big Star Wars fans, DS and I are not. We went last year for the first weekend and we all really enjoyed. Yes, the park is busy but we just fass passed the busy rides and made sure we had an ADR for Si-Fi diner. The two longest queues were for Darth Vader and that big hariy one (cant think of its name)which were about an hour each.Whilst DH and DD were queuing we went off to do other rides, when they had finished they would call and then we'd meet back up.That way we were all happy. The parade is very good and i would think everyone would enjoy that.I enjoyed seeing the Star Wars fan club members all dressed up as their favourite character:rotfl:
If you do go try and get there for rope drop, and if you want to visit the Star Wars souviner shop go first thing as it gets very very busy, especially on the first day.

Star Wars Weekends are amazing IMO, Must say the sing and dance off all the Star Wars cast do is one of the funniest things I've seen it's ace, especially when the cast just mingle in with the crowd! Glad we were there to see it two years ago, DW and DD were not that bothered so they went off four a few hours while I wondered around the park , tracking the cast down !

Thanks for the advise, I think we will give it a go as we can alway get there early and then Hop if it gets super busy or the non Star Wars fans get driven mad.

And I really do want a picture with a Wookie
