Star Wars Weekend Tips 2012

Thanks for all the great tips for SWW. I will be taking the kids to DisneyWorld the week of 9-16 June. So of course they want to visit HS on the 10th, to get the SWW in. They are huge fans, I on the other hand ,have no clue what they are talking about.lol One question is about the parade, do they have wheelchair area for the SWW parade?

Yes they do, get there early though cause it's not that big. It's very close to the hat where there are benches under trees...in between the hat and the tip board on Hollywood Blvd.

Thank you to everyone for posting and keeping us up to date!! Between school and work things have been crazy so I have not posted much lately.

We will be landing in Orlando around 5:30 tomorrow evening!! Hope to see everyone in line bright and early Friday morning!

Rick

Thanks!! When does the parade start and how early do you think I should get there.

Would this mean her Her Universe signing would be extended?

Her Universe signing is 3 to 4pm...my daughter got her shirt signed first weekend and they didn't let us take a picture during Her Universe signing...not sure if they changed that rule.
It looks like she would just stay there at the Mall, signing Her Universe, take a short break (if any) and sign autograph from fps

:worship::worship: Thank you!!

I just found this video of Jake Lloyd being interviewed...I kinda fell sorry for the interviewer  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEmgio0VV1E

It's just like I said a few pages back. When we asked closed ended questions we got a yes or no. When we asked open ended questions there was a response. This interviewer asked only 2 open ended questions.

The interviewer was weird....

Seemed inexperienced.

Karpkg: we will be attending on June 10th!!!

How busy do you think the last day will be?

That's a bummer that they didn't allow pictures during the signing.

Sorry, I didn't see any. But get to the parade early and ask a CM who's setting up the parade route.

There is one on the right hand side near the times board, but it fills quickly. We had two scooters with us, and at 12-ish, there was no where to park them. We did find a spot right by the camera stand on the right side of the route as you are facing the Hat. The area was marked off for a walkway during the High School Rock thing, but, we just backed up behind the brass line and were good to go.

Thank you mesaboy2 for the reply. I also noticed your schedule a page or two back...it made me create one instead of my origional plan of just winging it. Now I may wind up winging it but at least I had a plan to start so another thank you! Have a great trip! Sunday can't get here fast enough!

kmcdougan,

Enjoyed your report!

I've been tempted to go down the line asking "Who here is from the DISboards?" But I chicken out every time. :bitelip:

I chickened out, too. I always do. It was harder to chicken out doing the fish extender thing with the cruise folks from the DIS.

No problem. That schedule will probably change within 5 minutes of me getting there, but at least it's something to deviate from.

My dd and a friend, sticking their tongue out at Darth Vader.
