Star Wars weekend less busy on Friday or Sunday?

Mark Hamill will be there on the 6th. All other things being equal I would think 6/1 would be less crowded.

OTOH, I'm there on the weekend of the 6th (setup long before Mark Hamill was scheduled figuring that'd be a lighter weekend. ) and planning on going on the 6th figuring that will be the lightest of the 3 days that weekend. Maybe. I hope.

We're in the same boat. We booked our trip before the Hamill announcement. I planned DHS for Friday thinking it would be lighter than Sat, which I'm pretty sure it will, but still I'm wondering about the crowds. We want to take part in some of the SWW stuff, but we'll still do the other stuff.

We went the same weekend 8 years ago and the Friday was manageable. We'll see how much things have changed with time.

No. :-(

I had already book Mamma Melrose with the Fantasmic Package and by the time I realized that H&V would have a character dinner with Feel the Force everything was booked. Same for adding FtF to the H&V breakfast. I just changed the breakfast 3 or 4 days ago.

Oh well. We're not there just for SWW. That's just an added bonus. Even better I haven't told my 2 DS's about SWW. They just know we're going to Disney. And so far oldest DS who is 12 hasn't gone online yet to research our trip yet. He will freak out when he finally finds out.
