Star Wars Weekend Date Announcements

When do they usually announce SWW dates? I am trying to make ressies for next year and want to make sure it's not the wrong dates. I see that this year they are starting a little earlier. We are looking to go the first weekend in June when the points are still lower....

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe the 2009 dates were released sometime in January or February. And I didn't even see them on Disney's websites first, rather on the Star Wars one, then a week or so later on Disney's.

Like stopher 1 said, they usually announce them in Jan or Feb. The dates have moved around a little bit from year to year.

Last year we were there for the SWW on the very first weekend- which was the first weekend in June and we used less points which worked out nice. But this year, that first weekend in June is the second weekend of SWW (I think). It was a ton of fun. This year we are going at the end of June and unfortunately SWW will be over by then.

Looking back over the years its a pretty good bet that SWW will at least take place during the first weekend in June-sometimes it also includes the last 2weekends in May and other times instead of those May weekends it runs later into June.

Yup,
Weekend 1 is May 22-24,
Weekend 2 is May 29-31,
Weekend 3 is June 5-7, and
Weekend 4 is June 12-14

DD and I will be there for the first weekend.
