Star Wars: Rogue One

We'll be there the week Rogue One is released in theaters. My son is actually sort of bummed because he's a huge Star Wars fan.

Any chance Disney is doing anything at HS or anywhere in regards to the release?

AMC in Disney Springs will play it, if you're able to get over there sometime when you are there.

Well last year Disney had a ticketed event for the movie premier where you paid one price and it included your movie ticket to the premier at Disney Springs AMC and a ticket to Hollywood studios that was only open at night to the event ticket holders and had food, party, and fireworks. So if they do that again it should be announced soon and would be good to do if you're big Star Wars fans. They went to see the movie at like 6/7pm on opening day, then afterward went to HS from like 8 or 9pm to 1am I believe

Other than that the AMC theater will obviously be showing it and HS might have a special parade for it.

We were there last year for release of Force Awakens and will be there again for Rogue One this year. We didn't attend the carpeted event but we did go down in the daytime on release day and we got to go on the red carpet and meet a few drones (similar to R2D2). This is what happened last year and may happen this year.

I know you have no way of knowing but if something were to be announced when would we likely hear by?

Was hoping they would at least do the Star Wars Fireworks the night of the premier..... as we are also going to be there that week. And were actually disappointed about the Jingle Jam. They have the Jam scheduled every night now, and have even moved DHS hours back to 8PM (they had for a while moved closing up to 7PM) on Saturday.

yes, they changed the time back to 8pm on Saturday a few weeks ago. It's not looking good for an event. But you never know
