Resort Thread STAR WARS: GALACTIC STARCRUISER Official Information & Questions Thread

We should start to see a steady stream of info coming out. Very interested to hear the different perspectives that everyone will have. I suspect it will be a bit challenging to avoid significant spoilers while also obtaining some helpful/need to know info at the same time.

Keep in mind, though, these are people who Disney invited. If these people want to be invited to future events, they will post generally positive reviews - not saying it won’t be a great experience, but they may not look at it quite the same way since they aren’t dropping thousands. If you want truly unbiased information, you’ll have to wait for the regular, paying customers to give an opinion.

I saw somewhere that we can't even drop off luggage before 11am, but now I can't find that. Is that true?

We will be getting off an actual cruise on the Fantasy on 3/19 then heading to the starcruiser. Even if we cling to our verandah until the absolute last second, we'll arrive on property hours before that (we've paid for DCL transportation to WDW). We were hoping to leave our luggage at the GS and then head to disney springs until we could check in. Given the rest of the activities of the week, we really don't want to pay for park tickets for that day. Does anyone have any information or thoughts about how to make this work?

I thought I read you could drop off your luggage if you need to, but then you would be redirected to Disney Springs until actually check-in time.

I hope Blog Mickey is allowed. If not, apologies.

I completely agree, these initial reviews won't hold very much weight for me. I'm not so interested in people's opinions, but more interested in the info coming out on the parameters and types of activities and the details surrounding the itineraries. Hence my desire to balance spoilers and need to know info.

You can drop your luggage off and then go to Disney Springs (or wherever else you want to go..they will have a bus to Disney Springs but if you want to go anywhere else you may need an Uber.)

I need to find out how long they will let you wait for a pickup by Mears to go to the airport. I might have to arrange for an earlier pickup than necessary to make a 1:30 flight

There are some honest vloggers going on the maiden voyage who aren’t under Disney’s thumb so I’d check them out. I’m expecting most initial actual paying guest feedback to be overly positive since they’re so heavily invested financially and secured their spot once it became available. Friday the influencers who get the red carpet rolled out for them and are under disneys thumb will post nothing but fluff. They’ll all say the exact same thing and will gush about the amenities.
