Thoughts
- This is a hidden gem, ESPECIALLY for Star Wars fans and can easily see this being more popular as time goes on.
- While they need to sync Star Wars music to a firework show that is not made for it, what they were able to do is quite good.
There are parts where the fireworks match perfectly, but also times you are waiting for the fireworks.
- Disney has a winner on their hands. I just hope Disney does not try to monetize this show and just let it play as is.

Tips
- Arrived at the Falcon 30 minutes before and found a good spot.
- 15 minutes before the show Cast Members will try to get guests to move closer to the falcon, but you want to be a bit back from the falcon to get the better views.
However, when the guests move in closer it opens even more space near the back.

Looks like fun! That was clever of Disney to create a new soundtrack to entice more people to watch the fireworks from SWGE.

When watching my video of the fireworks from Rivers of America, I noticed that there was a short break in between fireworks as the focus was on the projections. When the fireworks were exploding, there was a transition between projections. I bet those lags are what you are noticing when watching from Galaxy's Edge.

Has this become more popular in the last 4 months or so? We arrived 1 minute prior to fireworks time and had a great view in April.

Are they going to set tables up or something? If I recall there isn’t a huge amount of seating in that area and the seating that is there is under a lot of cover…

Besides the usual desire to monetize every experience, like you haven't already paid for a ticket of an annual pass, I bet the fireworks seemed an esp strong draw for SW fans who are pass holders that just show up for the evening. Management deems them to not be spending "enough," so now we have this lure. I'm interested to see the food, but found some Season of the Force foods to be underwhelming. What I want to know is if they're going to grab a giant section of seats....

That's an interesting take. Why do you feel this is targeting MK holders? Based on what is posted in this forum, I feel that the majority of people willing to pay extra for reserved seating are non MK holders.

Locals are more likely to arrive early and stake out a spot to view fireworks or a show. They visit the parks often enough that they don't worry about maximizing rides at each visit.

There aren't that many seats to grab.

Docking Bay 7 seats are circled in red below. They could move the tables and set up rows of seats in the region of the smaller circle. That's a prime viewing spot. The larger dining area is fenced off and doesn't have a direct view.

Ah, I should have said grab an area FOR seats. I'm wondering if they'll try to give it the Magic Kingdom treatment and make an area around the Falcon a "dessert party" zone, put in seats for the fireworks, etc. It seems like it would be harder to do because the best viewing area is relatively high traffic because of Smuggler's Run, but you never know.

We viewed the fireworks from Galaxy's Edge on Saturday night and loved it. If this new dining package is just seating at Docking Bay 7, it doesn't bother me.

Might Bug some but I'm fine with an area for viewing of shows to be paid to view

I do not have 2-3 hours to wait for many of the shows and the Fantasmic 35 dollar dinning with seating is a steal if you can afford it...makes thatshow and fireworks much easier to see

No Idea, if I would see this but would depend on the cost and location

Were you able to get to the bridge for the 2nd Fantasmic show?

No, we didn't make it to Fantasmic! unfortunately, but loved the fireworks in Galaxy's Edge! Thanks so much for your advice!
