Star Wars Death Star LEGO set!

I found the Star Wars LEGO Death Star set on Walmart dot com tonight for $339!! I know it is still a lot of money - but it sells for $399 on the LEGO website and it is currently out of stock there (Walmart showed it in stock). It shipped free, I used the $75 e-gift card I got when I purchased an iPad for my aunt (her money!) on Black Friday, and I used my 10% associate discount. All told, I spent $238 out of pocket! Oh, and I went through ShopAtHome and will get 6% cash back!!

I wouldn't normally spend quite so much on a Christmas gift for DH, but this year we sold a few things on ebay and did GREAT, so we have a little extra cash for fun. He is going to be so excited and I can't believe I had never seen it on their website before. He will be shocked! We had discussed purchasing it at the LEGO store at DTD when we went in October, but ended up skipping it.

Good deal! DS6 has this on his list but it is not in the budget for us. Glad you found it on sale, it's crazy how much they charge for some of these Legos!!!

My 19 year old ds is getting The Black Pearl set this year, maybe someday we'll get the Death Star too.
