Star Wars character autographs?

We are heading to WDW after a quick 2 day visit to DL. We have good friends joining us in Fla. and they have 2 boys who are huge SW fans. I have a bunch of SW stuff for them when they get there but I thought it would be cool to have some autographed pics. Is this possible and does anyone know where I could get some pictures?

Sorry...just to clarify...are you asking about getting characters autographs or are you asking autographs from the people in the movies (e.g., are you asking if Darth Vader will sign a photo at his M&G or are you asking about buying an autographed photo of Mark Hamill)?

Both my kids have autograph books with a signature of Darth Vader - it might not always happen, but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks. I'll skip the M&G
I don't know they're available in DHS, but some of the CMs in Launch Bay have cards. There is one for Chewie, one for Darth Vader, and one for Boba Fett. Normally you get them when you go to the M&G (I think), but I asked every CM I saw inside Launch Bay if they had a card until I'd found all three). The Chewie card has an Aurebesh decoder, which is cool (given all the signage in Aurebesh in Launch Bay). I don't know if the DHS set-up is similar, but if not, it might be something fun to collect and give to your friend's children.

Any chance you went to Star Wars Weekends in DHS? I've read that Darth Vader signed autographs during Star Wars weekends. Still, I agree, if you do end up going, it can't hurt to ask. You could also trying asking the CMs at the entrances to the M&G lines if the character signs.

Nope, just a regular day in Tomorrowland when we met him. I think asking the character themselves is more likely to give you some pixiedust: as the CMs are going to be told to say one thing and one thing only - they are sorta like storm troopers if I have ever met real ones...

The limitation is that it can be a pretty long wait for those characters. That's why I suggested asking the CMs at the line queue because it'll save time. When I was last at Launch Bay (admittedly in early December), the wait times for Chewie and Darth were both 60 minutes. So that's a long time to wait to be told "no" if you don't really have any other interest in meeting the characters.

In terms of Darth Vader, that's pretty cool that you saw him roaming around Tomorrowland. I've seen him at MHP, but I haven't seen him roaming around the parks on a regular day.
