This is not exactly Disney news, but the Star Wars Celebration Fan Convention (Celebration V) is scheduled for Orlando (Orange County Convention Center) August 12 - 15, 2010. It's rumored that these dates may have been chosen to coincide with the closure of Star Tours at the Studios. Star Tours is rumored to be closing either in Sept or Oct 2010 for its rehab to the new ride. This would give folks going to the convention to be amoung the last to experience Star Tours just before it closes.
It should be interesting to see if any Star Wars events are planned for WDW.
