Star Wars build your own lightsaber

My DS has recently discovered Star Wars and is mad about it. No doubt we'll be around Star Tours a lot and I've just seen to youtube that there is now a 'build your own lightsaber' at DLP

Has anyone done this? Any ideas on cost, and is it in Disney Village or the Main Park?

We did this with DS in February. Things might have changed since then but back in Feb it was available in one of the shops in the Village (can't remember precisely which one) Think it was about 30 euro's for a single lightsabre and 35 for a double ended.

One thing to note was that at the time the shop opened fairly late in the day - not something we realised when we went to do it before going to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch! To say DS was disappointed was an understatement :S He did however accept a plush YodaStitch as compensation

I built mine at the shop at H.S. at the completion of the star tours ride. The shop is open as soon as the park open. The place where you build the light sabre is on the right side of the store just before the exit. The cast member was very helpful you pick out the part and he helps you build it. I can t remember how much it was I got the double light sabre to go with my Darth mall customer. I had a good experience.

It's in the Disney Store in the Village (the old one next to Annette's; not World of Disney). When I was there last month I think the store only opened at 4pm (as Hipster Meg says) so that might be something to keep in mind!

Just an extra FYI, I noticed last week that the shop closest to Cafe' Mickey (Disney design or something? Linked to Disney fashion).. now has practically the whole back of the shop theme to sell star wars items.

Build Your Own Lightsaber is in the Disney Store in Disney Village which opens at 4. Other Lightsabers are available from Star Traders next to Star Tours, but these are not of the build your own variety.
