Star Trek vs Star Wars

Star Wars, hands down. I'm quite familure with the ST universe as my mother, brothers, and now DH are all Trekies. I've seen all of the original Star Trek and Next Generation eps (though not Voyager, DS9, Enterprise) so I can safely compare the two. I still think SW is better, even after the cluster bleep that was Eps 1-3 (okay, Ep 1 was okay, 2 and 3? thpppppp!).

That said, I loved the new ST movie and can't wait to see another (if they are doing one...I haven't heard if they are or not).

I liked Episode 3 a lot but thought that Episode 1 was bad. Jar Jar?

Because of this thread I rented the new Star Trek movie to watch tomorrow during my furlough day. I've got to see what all the fuss is about. As long as it's as good as the original series or TNG I'll be happy.
