Hi everyone:

Thanks so much for answering my other questions so far! :)

One more - how is the Star Tours line these days? Friends who went last summer said it was crazy, definitely need to ride at opening, and FP were gone quickly. Is it still that bad?

This will be President's Day weekend - gasp!

Thanks!!!
Kim

When we were there this week, it was the busiest ride in Tomorrowland, and the longest DL ride line we did. I saw it at 40mins, but I had FPs. We got the FPs around noon (park opened at 10am). If you want it, definitely go for those FPs first. Space Mountain, Indy comparatively had little to no lines (we were walk ons).

We were there over MLK weekend. Lines were long but FP were still available midday.

It was another story the week before Christmas. On the busiest day we were there, FP were gone by early afternoon.

It was definitely the first FP we'd collect for the day, but if you don't I suspect you'll be okay.

I went today and the line wasn't as long as I expected it to be, shortest I've seen was 30 minutes..which was amazing because I went several times during December when the wait time was 50 minutes to an hour! So I would say it is way less crazy during off-season than summer/Christmas.

You are going during a busy time, but at least the frenzy is over. No more 1-2 hours lines and FPs gone before noon. Still expect a line in the 45-60 minute range and FPs could be gone by evening. You don't have to go to ST first to ride or get FP, it's pretty even as a priority with Space and Indy now.

When we went Sun - Friday after thanksgiving it was the ride with always a long line, Space would even be almost walkon and Star Tours was crowded. We rode it once and enjoyed it, on our last day (Friday) it was so packed but we got FP's as DD4 wanted to ride it again, we went as our last ride in the park and it was a totally different ride then the first one we went on, duh!!! how did I miss that on here, hahaha, and we loved it, we were so bummed that we didn't know there were so many combo's and we could have been riding it every day out of our 6 days. Oh well, lesson learned the hard way.

How fun!!! and good luck on the ride line :)

I went way back at Halloween time, and it wasn't terribly busy even then. Got a fast pass in the morning, and waited maybe 15 minutes to get on the ride.

If it's important that you see it, get your FP's first thing. What's the worst thing that could happen if you do? You can still get other FP's after the 2 hour window.

I just came back from a trip on MLK weekend. The lines for nearly all the rides were shorter than they were during Christmas. The lines for Star Tours however didn't change so much. It's a 15 minute wait as soon as the park opens, and at least 30-40 minutes the rest of the day. Even in the FP line I had to wait about 10 minutes just to get into the ride building. I've never seen a longer line for FP holders.

The only difference I noticed between Star Tour lines in Christmas and the lines during MLK weekend is that FPs were still being distributed well into the evening during MLK weekend. The FP machines were still cranking out FPs until sometime around 6PM. Same thing with Space Mountain.

Hope you have a lot of fun on your trip!
