Star Tours Super Thread (Strategies & Experiences)

I'm still waiting to hear from someone if it makes them sick or not. The old one always made me woozy. I could go two or three years and then ride it again and remember why I didn't ride it every time.

Does anyone have any experience riding it who gets motion sick?

I get motion sick, but Star Tours didn't really bother me. Just for reference, things like tea cups and California Screamin' do me in. The old Star Tours would sometimes make me light headed, but not really nauseous.

I'm just curious but how do you get picked to be the rebel spy?

My friend and I cornered a CM and got some tips. There are cameras in each row and a picture of every seat is taken. The CM chooses from among those pictures. The two biggest things are that you can't already be wearing your 3D glasses (don't put them on early) or regular sunglasses (though I don't know why you would be at that point) and that you're facing forward with your face toward the center of the screen shield. The CM said they eliminate most people based on wearing the glasses (including balancing the glasses or sunglasses on top of your head) and people looking in the wrong direction. Other than that it's up to the CM.

Okay. I've been on it three times and I hope to get picked this time.

I read that Star Tours in now part of MM. Has this been the case the whole time it has been open or is it new?

Thoughts on using this during MM?
