Did anyone else pick up, that in the last few weeks, she kind of just sat there, didn't contribute as much as usual and had a glum look on her face. It's plain and simple she didn't want to share a stage with rosie. She could barely get along with joy, let alone rosie. this propelled her to do something else. what, i don't know, but we haven't seen the last of her i bet.

I just checked his schedule and she'll be on tomorrow night at 9 pm est!1 I for one am going to watch it. I wonder if she'll start a smire campaign against the view.

YUP and she is the director and choreographer of all HER actions!!!!

I (for the life of me) can't understand how AL puts up with her...but I bet she is very controlling of "her" AL!!!!!

I probably haven't watched the View 10 times, so I don't really have an opinion on Star - except she looks kind of weird after her weight loss went too far. But so what - it's her looks not mine.

Most everyone on this board seems to dislike her. I didn't know that until this thread.

A friend of mine teaches at a school with predominately African-American teachers. Several of her AA teacher friends have told her how much they DESPISE Star Jones - and this was way before the weight loss and marriage. She didn't ask - they just seemed to bring it up fairly often in the lounge.

I really think this is the end os Star Jones, if she does do something else in TV it will be dropped rather quickly after there are no viewers!

Yes, I noticed it. Many a time she would just sit there with downcast eyes. I'll bet the tension there was real high.

I watched the View almost every day when it was first on, and liked Star then, now the kids are bigger and we are more active and I only catch it once in a while. Yesterday was the first time in a few months - and what a bomb to see! AFter the Bridezilla year, she never came back anywhere close to reality, and yes, I agree she needed to go. In reading all of these accounts yesterday and today, it looks like she was given the opportunity to go graciously and on her own terms, and she still managed to burn her bridges.

we've all had jobs where we wanted to go tell the boss off and scream "I quit!" but you never know when his wife's best friend is the hiring manager at the next place you apply. if you stay in the same town or industry chances are someone will know someone who knows the story and you have killed all further chances with one "feel good" moment.

Hope it was worth it for her and she plans on living off her investments from the last 9 years.

What a mess. Sorry, but I think they did her wrong after 9 years with the show.

Maybe we don't know everything. Maybe they were losing viewers because of her. On the View's ABC message board, everyone complains about her all the time.
Seems to me she did them wrong and it will probably affect her career. You never burn bridges and you never go over the bosses head, which is what she did yesterday.

I read somewhere this afternoon on the Net that Barbara said that they wanted to fire her in Dec but she said not at Christmas. Then in Jan her book was coming out and she didn't want to hurt sales of it and then Feb her surgury. So Barbara did have her back no matter what Star said. So she has had to know since March. That would have been plenty of time to find a new job unless she thought they would change their minds. From what I understand she talked to People mag on Monday before she made her announcement on Tues. She did not make a smart move if she ever wants to work in television again.

Wow I did not want to say anything about Elizabeth for fear of being a witch b/c she seems so sweet and naieve. I cannot stand her. They need someone with a better education and a little more presence. She blends in with the wall paper and you just want to tell her to shut her mouth.

She does have a good education. Also, maybe she never had a chance to say anything. A lot of times when she tries to say something, Star or Joy will interupt her.
I love her trendy outfits!

By the way - I almost hate to say this - but does anybody else think Star was better looking before she lost the weight? He body looks great - there's just something about her face and eyes that looks "off" about her now.
