We are going for a weekend trip in May and were able to get a good deal through Orbitz for Coronado Springs. We have never stayed there before (we usually stay at the PO resorts) and I had a couple of questions about the resort:

1. Where should I request a room: Casitas, Cabanas, or Ranchos? I am a member of Touring Plans and have used their fax service successfully on several trips. What are the pros and cons on each area?

2. How intrusive is the current construction? We actually have a little free time to explore the resort and wondered how bad the noise will be.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would choose Ranchos ... and I love Ranchos the best under any circumstance.

Just about every Ranchos rooms is out of sight of the construction, with a buffer of trees, greenspace and the main pool Dig Site.

Construction is where you see Bldg 9B and lower.
