We just returned from our stay at BWV and I was very disappointed with our room. We were in room 2064 (dedicated studio) and it was called a preferred view.
The deck was completely enclosed with a round porthole shaped covering. The view from the deck (no word of a lie) was a gigantic tree. If you went outside on the deck and stuck your head through the porthole and looked straight down you could see the sidewalk in front of the Luna Pool.
I am not happy we used extra points to get this kind of view. I did not even care if we saw the fireworks, I just wanted something decent to look at. The room was so dark even with all of the lights on, you could not see well.
DH did ask for another studio, but was sent to one that had the same porthole. He was told there were no other studios.
Funny enough, in the laundry room I met a couple from the UK who had to vacate this room the day we checked in and they were moved to a standard view. They said their room was sunny and bright and they loved their new view. They could not understand either why this room 2064 was called a preferred view.
OK, vent over.
