Standard Inside Staterooms Configuration?

I’m booked on my first Disney cruise in December on the Magic in a standard inside stateroom. I understand this room does not have the split bath which is fine with me as I am a solo traveler.

What I am trying to figure out is the bed configuration...

Disney Cruiseline website shows the bed parallel to the wall with a mirror above so the side of the bed is directly opposite the door. You see the mirror when you walk in. But all the photos I see online of Standard Inside rooms show the foot of the bed facing the door, and there is no mirror above the headboard.

I REALLY need to know which is accurate.

I know it’s weird but the idea of sitting up then facing the door just bothers me. I was already struggling with the idea of sleeping in a box.

Pictures would be great if anyone has them.

I don't know if it's different on the Magic, but this was our 11A room on the Dream a few years ago. I was standing in the hall (just inside the stateroom door), bathroom to the right of me, closet to the left:
418526

Desk just past the closet:
418527

And bathroom to the right:
418528

Thanks. The pictures I’ve seen on the Magic are similar except they have a tall blue headboard and no magic porthole of course.

Now, I know on the Magic class there are "sideways" inside rooms. Maybe that's what you've seen. What category do you have? Do you have a room number?

11A Room 7009, not a sideways layout.

The pics I have seen were on Disney’s site under standard inside staterooms, but I think they were pics of the deluxe inside staterooms.

We had 2 inside cabins on the magic in April. When you walked into the room, the sofa and coffee table were directly in front of you. The bed was on one side and the bath the other.

We had side by side cabins - the bed was on the left side in one, and on the right side in the other. They were small cabins, but fine for 2 people. I think we had 6507 and 6511, if that helps.

Yes, we were on the Wonder in an inside room (6135) and it was set up this way. You can close the privacy curtain if the door straight ahead causes concern.

So it looks like the configuration could be either way since two people in Wonder stating different positions of the bed.

Well, that’s interesting.

That would actually make it worse for me. 😂

It would make me feel super claustrophobic and also extra paranoid. I am weird, but it’s the same reason I keep my closet door open at home and generally do not pull the shower curtain closed unless company is coming over. I have an over active imagination.

2571 is a cat 10. In those rooms the head of the bed is along the side wall of the cabin. In the cat 11 rooms the head of the bed is along the far wall and the foot of the bed faces the cabin door.

Thank you! You have answered my question!

Now, I just have to make a decision.
